Flooding = Road Closure

A flood has closed the Nisga’a Highway from New Aiyansh to Greenville and Gingolx.  Do you have photos to share?  Send them to mborges@nisgaa.bc.ca and I’ll post them on this blog.

Thanks to Gary & Marty Cox for these photos of the flooding near Gingolx, and a family of moose near Greenville.

The Three Little Bears

The Nass Valley is filled with wildlife. Every Spring the highways are visited by the resident bears.

Here’s a mother bear and her two cubs hanging out back in May:
